Review:
This was a brilliant movie... a brilliant movie from the beginning till the... umm...

The movie began well and was for the most part a well executed movie. The acting was on point. All three main actors did their part without fault. The visuals were great. Half way through the movie I was like this has to be an M. Night Shyamalan movie. I found that there were many similarities with The Sixth Sense and The Signs.

The reasons for these similarities is that the director uses a lot of imagery to tell his story. There are many parts in the movie were all you can hear is squeaking doors and footsteps and not much dialogue. The use of children here is also similar to The Sixth Sense and Signs. The miracles are also great to watch.

Unfortunately this was NOT a good movie for me. While other critics will put blame to the acting, I believe it was the script. The script went off track and went against the laws of making a good horror movie. However go to see the movie for the few but interesting visuals... and yes there were some yells of shock from the audience so some scenes worked. And of course go see the movie for supporting yet another African actor, Idris Elba who is of Syrian and Ghanaian origin.
